Memorial Day 2008

Hope you had a great Memorial Day! Ours was great! We did this last year (click here for the post) and plan to make it an annual event while we live in CA. The best part this year was being with 5 out of 8 of Ben's siblings!

Those shots are so beautiful.
I love the one with Kate and the pink flowers.
I would've never thought to take those awesome flower shots.
Thanks for posting those.

I'm loving Kate's super-patriotic outfit. Your kids must have had so much fun with all those cousins!

Beautiful pictures! Our family used to always do a big thing for Memorial Day too, but not so much anymore . . . .

I missed having a big Memorial Day celebration this year...it's been a big deal all of my life...I too love the b/w picture of Kate with the pink petals...very cute!

So I'm a little behind on my blog-reading. I loved your rhyming blog. dog. and feel your pain with the heat! not sweet! It's been in the upper 90s ever since we got to Austin. not Boston. I was actually excited to check weather.com and learn it would only be in the low 90s. (sorry, nothing rhymes with 90s.)
Great pictures of Memorial Day. Beautiful!

Such a cute post! Love it! I also love the b&w of Kate...did you seriously have to outline all of those flowers to make them pink...wow...you're dedicated. Also, you should take a trip to China someday...so so so beautiful! BUT...you should let us join you. I'll take any chance to go to Chome! (WHOA...weird...I meant to write China but I was thinking "China is my home" and I ended up typing Chome!) :)

I actually just used the fill tool, the one that looks like a paint bucket. So easy.
