Every time she disappears for even a minute, I think, "This is it. This is the time she's not coming home." It is an awful feeling that makes me so sick to my stomach. We have friends on speed dial who have been called a few times to search the neighborhood...our sweet Primary President constantly checks in on the sunbeams to make sure Brooke is still with them. We finally got ourselves a GPS tracker for her. She wears the child-leash everywhere we go and has the tracker in her pocket. (My family calls her little Houdini because she has the amazing ability to get away even when 4 adults are really watching her!)

But I am so glad you found him...safe and sound. It is pretty good that he got scared though. That is what is missing with Brooke's experiences, she never gets to the point where SHE is scared --mom or dad have always (in her words:) "followed her footprints and found" her. I am sorry you had to go through that. I am glad you had a wonderful network of friends, neighbors and angels looking out for him. I am mostly amazed he made it home and to Costco! (Kinda interesting that he thought to go there-as if you'd just go on with your night without him!)

Prayers are answered. Hopefully this is an adventure Jacob will remember and NEVER try again! :)Mike and Shelbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05692317442201395422noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5769225005363224461.post-35311372645630500282010-08-02T09:28:59.834-07:002010-08-02T09:28:59.834-07:00Oh my goodness.
